Praise for Agent Automatic

By Rev. Ivan Stang
Founder of the Church of the SubGenius:

"Much to my surprise, that reporter guy "Agent Automatic" wasn't bullshitting, he was really working for a printed paper rock magazine, and even more shocking, he liked the show."

"It's a good article in that it adds to the dogma rather than just regurgitating it."

"Also amazing is the fact that Agent Automatic went to the trouble of ASKING me if I'd seen the article, and when I said I hadn't, he MAILED ME TWO COPIES!

"Now THAT is NOT your normal everyday journalist!
Most of them give you candy, take you out in the country, buttfuck you at gunpoint, then torture you to death and bury you in a shallow grave or chop you to pieces and leave the parts scattered in the forest for animals and bugs to consume. Then they go home and get paid and their article comes out."

“Issue (#16) of Verbicide is now out and is ridiculously great. I have to give props to Nate and Jackson for putting out their most attractive, solid issue yet. You've got in-depth interviews with Saul Williams (a major artistic influence on ADA and a hero of mine) and Gorillaz alongside… fiction by people like Agent Automatic.” -Jeremy Robert Johnson, author of “Angel Dust Apocalypse”.

"Bent on destroying the social order, Agent Automatic joins The Record staff. It is around this time that we began finding our office phones to be wire-tapped." - Joe Gulliani, Editor

"The ever talented writer and minister of propaganda, Agent Automatic." -General Bastard

Verbicide has my review of the Spanish science fiction film "Timecrimes" and the academy award winning "The Reader".

"Although Timecrimes was made in 2007, it has recently been screened in art houses around the country. Like many successful and provocative foreign films, Timecrimes is destined for an American remake. Fortunately, the director who is slated for this endeavor is none other than the master of expressionist cinema, David Cronenberg."

Look in September's Five on Five magazine for my  expose on the the new roller derby movie "Whip It".
